This Privacy Policy describes how Boost.FM (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information when you use the websites, players, streams, and related services for Boost.FM (the “Services”).
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). The sections below reflect the features currently enabled for this studio.
Boost.FM operates this site. For enquiries: email support@boostfm.com
Where playlists are enabled, we process information about playlist membership, uploaded media metadata, and access-control decisions needed to operate those workspaces.
We process playlist, structure, show, and timeslot configuration, plus playout logs needed to run scheduled and automated programming.
We store scheduler bookings, assigned members, and related calendar metadata needed to coordinate stream time and display schedules on this site.
Now-playing pages may process listener technical data and display metadata drawn from current playout (such as track titles and artwork) to show what is on air.
We collect streaming configuration, listener or session technical data (such as IP address and user agent), and operational logs needed to deliver and secure streams.
Use of the embeddable player may generate technical and usage data similar to streaming logs, including device and network information needed to play content and prevent abuse.
News posts and related author identifiers are stored to publish announcements and maintain an archive visible to authorised members or the public, depending on studio settings.
If you contribute articles or edits, we store the content and your account association for publication and administration.
Forum posts, replies, and related account identifiers are stored to operate discussions and moderation.
Organisation membership, roles, and related profile information are processed to manage access within the studio.
Message content, participants, and timestamps are stored to deliver direct messages between members and to support moderation or legal requests where required.
Contact requests and address-book entries you create are stored to manage member connections within this studio.
Profile fields shown in the crew directory (such as display name, role, and optional public links) are processed according to member and studio visibility settings.
Application forms collect information you provide (such as name, email, phone, role, message, and portfolio or SoundCloud URLs) so Boost.FM can assess your application. We retain applications according to our recruitment needs and legal obligations.
Review status, reviewer actions, and related metadata are stored to support quality-control workflows on playlist media.
We log pack generation and download events where needed for access control, quotas, and security.
Tags and taxonomy assignments you apply to studio content are stored to organise, filter, and discover media and related resources.
API tokens, request logs, and related technical data are processed to authenticate integrations and prevent abuse.
Media stored in S3-compatible buckets may be processed in regions chosen for the studio. Storage providers process data under contractual terms governing security and confidentiality.
When a white-label landing page is enabled, we may process technical data (such as IP address and user agent) and any information you choose to submit through published sections so Boost.FM can operate the public site and respond to enquiries.
Contact form submissions (such as your name, email, and message) are collected so Boost.FM can respond. We retain messages according to our support and legal obligations.
You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you by contacting Boost.FM at support@boostfm.com . If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy from time to time. See also our Terms of Use and Disclaimer.
